Ying Wang is a photography-centric Chinese visual practitioner, currently lives in NZ.
He began a journey in the art world from the late 90s, studied drawing, painting, and compositional basis in design as his major at high school completed Diploma of Digital Art Design before working as a designer in advertising companies. Also, he has acquired diverse experiences from multiple industries through more than a decade. However, he returned to study for a BMA degree in photography in 2017 and been exploring ever since.
From earlier work to recent experiments, his creative core has always been constructed by questions which superficially seem odd, conflicting, and perhaps sometimes unrealistic regardless of photographic genres. By continuously refining the traits his vision is on the way to a destination that has no end.
